Meetings are held on the first Saturday of the month from 1 - 5 pm, except for All-Day Auctions which are held on Sundays from 10 am - 4 pm and the Annual Bowl Show held the second Saturday of July from 1 - 5 pm. At every meeting we have a program, raffle, refreshments, and mini-auction! See the calendar for meeting schedules.

Monthly meeting programs have a feature presentation or workshop often preceded by a 10 minute "Lightning Talk." The formal program is followed by a raffle giving ticket holders a chance to win and try out new fish food and equipment. Meetings end with a mini-auction in which PVAS members can enter aquarium-related items for sale. Anyone can buy.

In the event of bad weather, the PVAS meeting will be cancelled if the Green Acres Center closes or the City of Fairfax cancels activities. A posting will be made to the PVAS Forum and Facebook page notifying members of the cancellation. An email announcement will also be sent out.
