MyGroupAuctions
There are well over 200 items listed in MyGroupAuctions for Sunday. Check out all the beautiful shrimp, fish, and plants. Now is the time to go through your equipment and identify items to enter into the tag sale at a fixed price. Expect the number of items listed to double and then double again on Saturday as sellers bag up their fish.
Now is a good time to review the Auction Rules.
A couple of items to keep in mind.
Sellers MUST have their CURRENT, complete and accurate address listed in MyGroupAuctions. Your checks will be sent to the address on file. Every auction we remind sellers to update their address, and every auction someone hasn't and doesn't get paid until the initial check expires. It's sad for everyone :(
Sellers: All bags must be properly labelled. This will be enforced, and we will be fussier than we are for the monthly mini-auctions. You will save yourself time and headaches by printing out your own labels at home. If you don't have properly sized labels, you can always print out your labels onto an 8.5 X 11" piece of paper and cut it up and apply the labels using packing tape. There will be a label printer and some labels at the auction. This is a courtesy. There can be long wait times to use the printer. Plus, it's stressful to be unloading your fish at the auction and then scrambling to get the bags labelled. Give yourself a break by labelling your items at home.
Buyers: The check-out line to pay by credit card can get long especially right at the end of the auction. Consider bringing cash so you don't have to wait to pay.
Hope to see everyone on Saturday and Sunday.
My check for sales at 3 OCT was for non-member rate. I gave Susan $20 cash for membership renewal befo-re auction started. I was told I would receive member rate for auction if I paid her. I want another check for the differencebetween member rate and non-member rate. Who is responsible for this error and correctkion for the for the club? I have my suspicions.
We've all read about them in magazines such as Amazonas, but how many have actually seen them? We're talking 6 Red Cherry Tetras from the Mato Grosso in Guapore Brazil donated by Londontowne Tropicals for the Auction tomorrow. Hope everyone has jacked up their cash flow for these little beauties.
I wasn't able to attend the showcase today but will definitly be at Sunday's Auction bright and early!
Going over to pick up donations from Londontowne Tropicals for the auction. Can't wait to see what Dale is donating to the club.
I am so excited for the all day auction that I will be busting out some high end shrimp for the auction to include a bag from my Red Snowflake colony that took 3rd place at the international shrimp contest. And a bag of Orange Eye Red King Kong Caridina shrimp also known as Red Devils not some thing availible locally.....
Looking forward to a great weekend of aquarium events!
Can we bring items to donate (tanks) Saturday?
