Come share a meal with your fellow PVAS members and families to celebrate the holidays! Saturday, Dec 7 at 1 pm, Setup at 12:30.
Michael is once again applying his expert touch and bringing turkey and ham. We'll also have water and soft drinks.
Please bring a side dish or dessert and sign up below with what you'll bring. Please also bring serving utensils and an extension cord if you are bring a hot plate or crock pot.
In addition to the meal we'll have our mini-auction, last one of the year. There will be no speaker but we'll have a few remarks from a couple of officers to close out the year and get ready for a great 2025.
I poked my head in at the MyGroupAuctions site, and noticed that someone (or multiple someones) is selling Hygrophila polysperma in the auction. This is a federally listed noxious weed, and Virginia has made its sale / trade / transfer illegal. The club selling it at auction can actually technically get the club shut down -- though admittedly, it's not particularly likely that Va DGIF is browsing MyGroupAuctions. Someone also appears to have it listed as "Hydrophila." If the person selling it doesn't see this and remove it, it should be removed from auction and destroyed (or returned to the seller).
I'll be bringing pies. It looks like we could use more vegetable side dishes if anyone is wondering what to bring. If not, we'll just all have to eat lots and lots of dessert. :)
Hope I am not too late. Gavin and I are bringing Pulled Peanut Chicken and Rice. (contains peanuts)
I'll bring an Asian cold noodle salad. Vegan. Peanut butter*
My mom will be making a tray of Chicken Pulao :)
Will bring a dessert, tbd.
Will bring a dessert: "dulce the leche" cake
Manuel
I'll bring honey ginger chicken.
I can bring macorini salad :)
I will be attending :)
Does chili work?
Jeanette and I will bring Buffalo chicken dip.
