We feed Omega One Kelp flakes, Bug Bites Spirulina Flakes, and a bit of live Baby Brine Shrimp here and there. The flakes can be “pinched” really finely. We also allow some duckweed on the surface, since they’ll hit that now and then. Water change 20% once or twice per week .
Thanks! I haven't seen mine go after duckweed. I have been feeding the bug bites spirulina flakes, Fluval Bug Bites for small fish and Sera spirulina tablets. I just picked up some frozen spirulina brine shrimp cubes to try as well.
@redupright Once they're happy, they really are delightful fish. Haven't seen ours eating duckweed either, but John Mangan told us he lets them graze on it, and someone in another forum commented about that as well. The Omega One Kelp Flakes are an interesting option. We also occasionally drop in an Omega One Algae wafer. They do nibble at it a bit, but prefer to eat off the water surface.

Just curious, what are you feeding your adult Xenotoca doadrioi?
Make that 6x fry!
