Thanks! Honestly, we are ultra low tech with lighting. In the 29 gal (Amazon tank) we have a blueish, coral 24" T8, 10,000 K that we were given when we bought the tank used. We've added a $10, 5,000 K white LED we bought at Wal-Mart (Hyper-Tough company), and a bunch of yellow LED strip lights. We have two timers, and the large LED light is only on for a few hours at midday. We use a really low tech CO2 system with an inverted 50 ml turbidity beaker in the back corner that we fill with CO2 1x each day, using a yeast+sugar DIY rig.
Great video. What light fixture do you have over the Amazon tank? The colors on the fish really pop, and the plants seem to be doing very well.
