Yeah. We use a Lee's Large Specimen container. Floating a critter keeper could work. Maybe wrap the top with sealing foam strips so that it's buoyant. Be sure to add air.
Sadly, the eggs disappeared. I'll reread your spawning article and think about how I can do something similar to what you did. Maybe float a plastic critter keeper in the tank?
By the way, I bought one of your bags of German Rams at the April 7 meeting and put the trio in a 40 breeder community tank that already had one adult male German blue ram. A few minutes ago, I noticed that one of the young females and the incumbent adult male are guarding eggs.
I was just going to let them survive in the tank, or whatever. I've had good experiences with the parents guarding fry over the years. Of course, I've never had them in a tank quite so crowded. I was hoping to sell a bunch of Anomalochromis thomasi at the April auction. :-(

Awesome! That's a great sign. They're pretty young, so should continue spawning regularly for you.
