I've got a lot of Anomalochromis thomasi, the African butterfly cichlid, that I can bring to the Great Fish Tailgate. $1 each. I will only be at the Tailgate from 1-2 p.m. Please order in advance, because I will not bring any extra fish.
Anomalochromis thomasi is a peaceful West African riverine cichlid that gets about 3 inches long. It is adaptable to a wide variety of water conditions. It loves outdoor tubs and ponds, but can be kept in relatively small aquariums, say 20 gallons and bigger. As Seriously Fish says, "actually one of the best choices for the newcomer to dwarf cichlids. It is relatively undemanding, peaceful, easily bred and quite beautiful once settled into the aquarium." EDIT: I emptied a tank this morning and realized that I've got a few more fish to sell. I've got a group of six Badis ruber, the Burmese badis, to sell, for $30. I'll try to include at least one female. B. ruber is a very pretty fish, and not that easy to find locally. Can fit in a 10 gallon aquarium, although you'd want more space if they are breeding. I've also got a group of six Glowlight danios, Celestichthys choprae, for sale for $30. This is a pretty danio, on the smaller side, but fairly active, so you'd want at least a 20 gallon long aquarium for them. More info here: https://www.seriouslyfish.com/species/celestichthys-choprae/
SECOND EDIT: I had a tank start leaking today, so I had to move some fish and discovered that I have more Corydoras teniente (the Lieutenant cory) than I thought. Accordingly, I can bring a group of six young adults (about a year old). $40 for the group.
