Number and Gender Distribution of Parents: 1 M, 2 F Share the tank with a small albino bristlenose that is growing out and keeping the algae controlled.
Origin of Parents: Male-Capital Exotic Fish, Females-Captic Exotic and/or PetSmart
Parents were placed in the breeding tank for two weeks then returned to the display tank. Fry appeared a week later.

Spawning mop: eyelash yarn, sits over plastic cross stitching gridding to allow eggs to drop through. Held down with some stones + plant anchors.
Substrate: naturally sourced lake sand
Lighting: none, tank is located near a south-facing window
Food Fed to Parents and How Often: TetraMin flakes a few times per day, occasionally some frozen bloodworms or dry tubifex worms
Food Fed to Fry and How Often: primarily baby brine shrimp several times per day. Also added some pulverized flake food sometimes early on. Amounts per feeding have been increasing as they grow.
