Monthly Mini-Auctions

The PVAS monthly mini-auction is a great way of obtaining some great fish, plants, and related items, whether rare or common, at great prices. Members can enter items for sale in the monthly mini-auctions. PVAS retains 25% of the sale price, 75% of all sales proceeds go to the seller. Members are encouraged to bring fish, plants, and related items, for the mini-auction since it provides a great way of exchanging items with other PVAS hobbyists.

Sellers: Please label each item for sale with the item's name and item number. The item number will be provided when you register the item for the auction.

Buyers: Please bring cash, so sellers can be paid immediately upon the conclusion of the mini-auction.

As always, donations are welcomed.

The Potomac Valley Aquarium Society offers one of its famous all-day auctions to conventioneers and non-conventioneer buyers and sellers. Bidding starts at 10:00 am sharp and will end when all lots are sold.

Imported Fish: Predominately Catfish plus other Freshwater Fish will be imported especially for this auction.

Registration for sellers and buyers opens at 8:30 am. Seller´s Registration closes at 12:00 noon.

PVAS retains the sale price of the items that sell for $1 or $2, or 30% of the lot sale price, whichever is higher.

All other auction rules remain the same for sellers and buyers and are located on the auction rules page on the PVAS website.

Once again PVAS offers a Pizza Fest at 12:30pm since there are no convenient restaurants to the hotel. Pre-registration is required for the Pizza Fest.
