May speaker Gary Lange on "Cruising Papua - Following New Roads and Exploring the “ Bird’s Head

All over Papua new roads lead to river systems that were difficult or impossible to reach just a few short years ago.  This talk will be about Gary's 2015 road trips in Northern Papua and then down the eastern border, and his 2017 adventures in the far western side of Papua, The Bird’s Head, home of Melanotaenia boesemani and several other interesting rainbowfish.

Gary will bring rainbowfish eggs for the mini-auction. See the forum for details about preparing to hatch eggs and care for fry.
